  3. Lovely peeks. Something is being baked. I trust it was yummy? And there are those lovely chickens. Sigh.. One day. I continue my fight with city hall on that one. And a bed time story. The best way to end the day :) Was it good? I always am looking for a good book. Be well.

    1. Yes, we baked up some banana bread. Very yummy! So happy we don't have to deal with that with our chickens, hope you win the fight. And yes, it is a lovely story. We just picked it up from the library last week and have read it every single night. Reece loves it!

      Thanks for playing along :)

    1. Thanks Yanic. It is a lovely book, and the artwork throughout is wonderful. We picked it up at the library last week. I have to admit I am a little picky about books, the art work is very important to me.

Thanks again for playing along. xo

  6. Sweet Peeks on your day, mama! I used to bake all the time, now (it seems) I never have the time and we are all gluten free which someone makes it seen less exciting.

    1. Thanks Cory. I have to admit when we were gluten free baking was not nearly as exciting as it is now. We still did it, but I was always unsure how things would turn out.

  8. You had a helper in the kitchen! I miss the days when mine would drag a chair over to stand on and help me prepare a meal, it was always so much fun. We would talk, laugh, make plans for the day, good times.

    1. It is a ton of fun and I love having him in the kitchen with me. And lately he not only wants to help with the baking and food prep, he is keen to sit on the counter and dry the dishes too :)

    2. You have to start early and then it becomes a habit. All my babies can cook and clean, thank goodness.
