{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words -
capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary
moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.
If you're inspired to do the same, leave a link to your 'moment' in the comments for all to find and see. Inspired by Soulemama.
Yes, and no. This is the little one that joins us to homeschool two days a week. Yesterday, was out last official day, she is with us on Monday, but I am taking them on a little adventure. Then we take a little break for the summer :)
What a nice quiet time. Little artists at work. Makes me think of this amazing summer camp the Fine Arts Museum here in town offers to kids. One week covering all mediums in the Museum studios and gardens. I think Reece would love it!
I had to cheat a little this week. There was no way a picture could capture the moment! http://familyfaithfoodfabric.wordpress.com/2014/07/11/this-moment-23/ Wishing you a very lovely week-end! xo
Oh that sounds awesome. I have actually heard about something similar for homeschool kiddos in our area. It is run in one of the historic houses by the lake. I really need to look into it. Thanks for the reminder :)
My babies use to love to paint outside, it helps the creative juices flow! Is the weather nice there? We have 97% humidity right now. Enjoy a fun weekend.
It does help the creativity flow for sure. It has been nice this week, humidity has been very low, and the temperatures just perfect. We have a polar vortex blowing in next week...can't believe it!
What a lovely captured moment - they seem so intent on their art! Looking forward to the day when my little man understands that we do this on PAPER, not the WALL!
What a lovely way to spend an afternoon - some outdoor painting!
My moment this week is a little bit of a cheat - it's our ten-year anniversary, so I posted our love story instead of a single image. Many happy moments tied up into one little post: http://notintentonarriving.blogspot.com/2014/07/our-love-story.html. Have a great weekend!
I think you should Summer. Hop on the next plane with the little cutie pie and come for a visit :) Really though, if you ever want to visit, we love having company :)
My kids would be in heaven - painting and trucks in the sand in the background. Looks like a perfect summer afternoon (or morning or evening or any other time!) Happy weekend :)
A perfect summer moment with a friend. We've been enjoying such nice weather and outdoor activities as well. I think we're all still trying to get over the cabin fever from the rough winter we had here in New York. Before we know it, it will be upon us again!! UGGHH!! : ) Have a beautiful weekend!!
Playdate? I used to love painting as a kid, such fun. Even better to do it with a friend.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend Kim. xx
