They are, and the best part is there are a whole lot more still to ripen in the woods. We are going back in a few days :) It was lovely and the perfect way to start my Summer Soul Camp.
Oh those berries look divine...and you collected them from the woods? Your Summer Soul Camp sounds interesting. Have you shared more about that?
I'm playing along this week, and my photos can be found here http://goodnorthcoastlife.blogspot.com.au/2014/07/morning-noon-and-night-sunday-20-july.html
They are Chrisy, and yes we did! Those are wild raspberries and are little bits of beautiful sweet sunshine in your mouth. So good!
I have not shared anything about the camp, but it just started yesterday, so maybe I will share more as I get into it. It is put on by Heather at Beauty that Moves for the next 10 days.
Your pictures always bring such a peace with them! I signed up late yesterday for Summer Soul Camp. So happy I did! I thi this is just what I need to refocus and slow down to savor these summer joys!
I love that you head to the woods and forage so many things there. The ticks, snakes and rain have been keeping me from getting out as much as I would like, but soon this season will pass.
Thanks Tracey, we do love our time in the woods. Ticks, I really dislike those things. We have found a few this year, but luckily not attached. And snakes, we don't see too many around here. I think this year so far we have seen three, not bad at all.
Hope that rain lets up so you can get out there soon. xo
Isn't Summer Soul Camp divine?! I am behind but just reading peoples posts and mantras is lovely! My hope is to get our family vision board and camp area figured out tomorrow when we're all home! I'm excited to go to camp as a family and I am super excited that you're at camp too! xo
Oh and I meant to say that we don't really have a Morning, Noon and Night post this week due to swimming lessons but there are a couple of posts from yesterday that I thought you'd enjoy! xo
I am loving it Shel. The FB page is a bit daunting to keep up with, but I am trying. I have not looked at today's camp notes, but from everyone's post get the idea we are setting up camp. Looking forward to doing that tomorrow.
beautiful berries and did you get a morning walk/run in too? Our day, a little late! http://throughourgardengate.blogspot.com/2014/07/morning-noon-and-night.html
It is going very well KC. A lot of fun actually. Today is only day 3, but Heather's little ebooks each day and the activities she has us doing are awesome and filling my week with a lot of fun. If she offers it next summer it is definitely something you should do. And she is offering a FB group this time too, which is very inspiring.
Color me intrigued. I just read your comments and would love to know more about your "camp". I don't know if I could pitch a tent in the backyard overnight (to much police activity lately for my tastes), but I would love to learn more. you and your blog are inspiration fountains. Be well.
Heather at Beauty that Moves is hosting it for the first time. Basically it is summer camp for adults. We have been choosing mantras, creating vision boards, setting up our camp space (not really a place to camp out, but a place to go to to relax and chill during camp and for the rest of the summer). There is so much goodness in the ebooks Heather sends each day, and a lovely, supportive and inspiring FB group. I highly recommend it!
Looks like another wonderful day. Your Summer Soul Camp sounds interesting and perfect to be involved with right now. We've just broken up for Summer and immediately I'm feeling life has slowed down for us. We were by a beautiful river today and Theo called across to me 'What time is it?', and I replied 'I don't know, why do you want to know? It doesn't matter does it?' And as soon as I said it I thought of you and recent posts/comments on the pace of life! It's feeling good right now!

ReplyDeleteThanks for playing along.

Psst: I'm in the same camp. Let's pretend we are in the same cabin ;) I'm sharing on instagram and the classroom blog, but not FB since I'm not on FB.
ReplyDeleteOh Karen, I would love to be in your cabin :) So far I am loving the camp. Reece and I worked on vision boards this afternoon and had so much fun.
DeleteGreat way to begin the first day of Summer Soul Camp. The berries look delicious! I'm in the same camp...love it!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly was! Thanks for stopping by, happy to be in camp with you :)
