{This Moment}

{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.

If you're inspired to do the same, leave a link to your 'moment' in the comments for all to find and see. Inspired by Soulemama.

  1. Oh my goodness, that is fantastic! Has that happened before? The birds around here, mostly cardinals, are too shy to feed from a hand.
    Have a great weekend.

    1. It has, but not with Reece. I can usually get them to eat out of my hand, but Reece usually can't stand still long enough. This is a conservation area we go to and it is known for the birds and chipmunks that will eat out of your hand. Reece is usually focused on the chipmunks but when we were there this week the birds were everywhere, super friendly and hungry, so they were landing on our hands one right after the other, it was pretty cool.

  3. What an awesome picture! The girls (especially Grace) would be over the moon to have a bird eat out of their hands! This totally is my favorite moment this week!

    Here's our moment. Not from this past week but the week before. It was too good to pass up! The looks on their faces say it all! :)

  10. So cool! Are the animals around you that tame or is Reece just that calm that they gravitate to him? Have a lovely weekend!

    1. This is a particular spot where the animals are used to human contact. The chipmunks and birds eat freely from your hand. This is the first time Reece has had a bird land in his hand though.
