{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.
If you're inspired to do the same, leave a link to your 'moment' in the comments for all to find and see. Inspired by Soulemama.
This week my moment is actually many moments. My littlest bug turns three today, and so my moments are from the past three years of knowing this little boy of mine. http://www.darkbluedragon.com/node/147
Awesome shot... the love and the wonder of where they are headed and what they are talking about. Beautiful, Kim! Hope your family has a lovely weekend!
so sweet. moments like these make me wonder about Avi growing up with two mamas. sure we have lots of moments like these replace papa for a mama... but the wonderful daily presence of a strong man with a kind heart... (at least that's what I make of your husband from what I've read so far). I'm grateful for all of the pseudo uncles that Avi has. :)
Our boys had lawnmowers when they were little too. You blogging about Reece often brings back lovely memories for me about when our boys were little. They are now 11 and 14 and I love them to bits.
It is one of our favourite places to walk, across the road from our home. If the picture showed just a bit more you would see our home. The two of them were heading home early from a walk. Reece was tired and wanted to go home, so Justin took him home and I continued walking with the dog, I turned around to make sure they were okay and thought I should snap a picture...this is the picture :)
What a beautiful moment, Kim. Such sweetness.
