    Beautiful! It is a good year for Trilliums. Unfortunately, they usually signal the black flies' arrival as well!!!

    Trilliums?!?! I search our woods and seldom find any..... lucky you!!

    My moment is actually a few moments from last September. As we are getting ready to head to the beach in a few weeks, I find myself enjoying last year's shots!

    Beautiful! We have creek lilies down our way that look like this. They grow wild in the creek beds, and spread out like a blanket on the forest floor. With our warm weather this year though they came before Easter, so I didn't get a chance to photograph them.

    I love these and how they reach into the forest. I was going to ask what they are called but Dark Blue Dragon answered my question. I hope the black flies don't come with them. :)

      They are trilliums and are actually our provincial flower :) And I too hope the black flies stay away, they really like me.
