{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words -
capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary
moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.
If you're inspired to do the same, leave a link to your 'moment' in the comments for all to find and see. Inspired by Soulemama.
Reece and I were the only ones brave enough to hit the trails on this -19 degree morning. It was cold, but the sun was shining, so we bundled up, headed out and came back refreshed and grateful.

I applaude your being brave enough enough to go outside in those temps. eeeek
ReplyDeleteMy moment is inside lol http://likemamalikedaughter.blogspot.com/2014/01/this-moment_24.html
Not necessary, as long as you are dressed for it, all is good :)
DeleteI hope you have a lovely weekend :) It has been cold here and yet I feel refreshed every time I'm outside in it!
ReplyDeleteYou too Karen :)
DeleteI love the composition in this photo Kim, just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHey, I have a chance, 30%, of snow next Wednesday! I know it's not much, but it's a chance.
Thank you Tracey. I hope that snow finds you :)
DeleteWe're not quite brave enough to go outside when the temperature is in the negatives! The little one in our family is 19 months, so we'd rather stay inside and cuddle when the numbers drop : ) Looks like a lovely day for a walk, though, so pretty in the snow! Have a happy weekend!

Yes, little ones don't need to head out in the cold. It was a nice day and we were bundled up so well we didn't even feel the cold.
DeleteBeautiful photo. Good for you for bundling up and getting out.
ReplyDeleteI had a mom moment this week. My youngest daughter and three of her friends came home from college. We had a great time on the ice. http://robinfollette.com/this-moment-ice-fishing/
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend :)
Just gorgeous (as always), Kim!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend, dear friend! Stay warm! xo
Thanks Shel, you too! xo
DeleteSun and snow, like here. Nice picture ! Enjoy your week-end.
ReplyDeleteThanks, we are enjoying it, although it has been very cold this week and a snowstorm is just starting up. It is going to be an interesting weekend.

You bet it is! Enjoy your weekend too!
DeleteI wish we had some snow too but last Monday actually felt like spring (which was lovely too!). We even found the first daffodil shoots looking out of the ground...well, it's Ireland after all. :)

I am thinking a little spring like weather would be nice, unfortunately a snowstorm is just getting started. How nice to daffodil shoots :)
DeleteBeautiful photo, I love all the shadows leading back to you. And we're still waiting for that snow you promised us!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sally. Sorry that snow hasn't reached you yet, feel free to come and get some :)
DeleteA walk in the woods! No matter how warm or cold in may be, the forest has magical powers that can leave you feeling wonderful. Happy Weekend!
ReplyDeleteIt most certainly does Kathleen :)
DeleteOh Kim...this must have been just wonderful! It is quite windy and the temp...below zero's most days now. Enjoy your weekend :)
ReplyDeleteIt was a little cold, but it really was wonderful. So glad we went out :)
DeleteWinter is weird here this year so unpredictable- one minute it's spring the next a snow storm. Enjoy your white frost weekend.
ReplyDeleteI would like a little spring right about now, even for just a day or two :)
DeleteIt is so much nicer when the sun is shining bright! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteIt is! Even if it means it is colder :)
DeleteLooks like the beginning of a wonderful adventure! What a beautiful setting for such things!
ReplyDeleteI think the whole lot of us savored this moment. Well, this day, really... http://sofiasideas.com/2014/01/24/this-moment-95/
