What are you grateful for today?
The grace to say no and take a day off! :) Lovely pictures Kim. And yes, when the weather is this cold, such a joy to sit calmly in front of the fire...have a blessed new day :0)
ReplyDeleteNow that is something to be grateful for.
DeleteThank you :)
I'm grateful for finding those bits of time for me. For boys that constantly say, 'I love you, Mommy', for sleep when it happens, for finally experiencing a winter again on this wounded earth of ours. :)
ReplyDeleteBits of time for you...always good.
DeleteI'm grateful for this new year and the new life we get to celebrate it with. Your pictures are just beautiful. I can't imagine how lovely it must be to enjoy the beauty of freshly fallen snow. One day I'll have to take a winter trip to enjoy some. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you. I think everyone should at least once in their lifetime experience that quiet beauty of fresh snow, it really is special.
DeleteI love your pictures, especially of the ice covered fence. I am grateful for the sun where I am, which changes my outlook on the day, no matter how cold! I am also grateful for the chance to be together as a family and rejoice in each other's accomplishments. Enjoy your day Kim!
ReplyDeleteThank you. Oh the sun, even if it is cold out, I am always happy to see the sun. Lovely list of gratitude.
DeleteBeautiful post. I have been thinking about gratitude a lot lately. I am really loving the fact that my husband isn't active duty Army anymore and that our family is finally settled for good. I'm so thankful for my healthy children, my home, and all the hopes and dreams we have for our family in it. <3
ReplyDeleteThank you. Beautiful list. I can imagine how grateful you are about not having a husband in active duty anymore...so happy for you guys :)
DeleteBeautiful photos, Kim!
ReplyDeleteConnections, collaborations, learning new things, stretching myself to reach out outside my comfort zone, creative little people... So much to be grateful for these days.
Happy you are getting out to experience all this crazy winter has to offer. Stay warm!
Thanks Dawn! Love your list of gratitude.
DeleteSee your garden under snow is really neat. I am grateful for snow! Albeit the kind that is fun and not on the roads or burying our house! I'm grateful for three days spent very slowly and for the connections we made with our girls.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds wonderful KC. Can't wait to hear all about it.
DeleteGrateful for a wonderful break and grateful to be easing back into a routine!
ReplyDeleteEasing back into routine, that is always nice :)
DeleteWe have been enjoying our jars of preserved food as well. Every time I open a jar of garden tomatoes it's reminds me of summer.
ReplyDeleteI know, it is so awesome!
DeleteBeautiful words and photos Kim. Love the image of the barbed wire fence.
ReplyDeleteGratitude is an amazing thing, practising it has made a big difference to my attitude and happiness.
Thank you Chrisy. It is, and I have found the same thing, huge difference.
DeleteA slow day and the promise of a nap and a bonfire later.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
