Beautiful! The beach is one of our favorite places to visit. It's crazy that we live near several but it's been snowing and so cold. Glad you're enjoying your vacation.
Interesting, the sand on Myrtle Beach seems to be a different colour and texture to the sand we have on our local beaches. Ours is a more…orange colour and seems more coarse…although we have other beaches a little further down the coast where the sand is really fine and a very light “sandy” colour (for want of a better word!).
Thanks Carlin. He has been so very happy during our stay here, and the beautiful day yesterday was the icing on the cake for him. He had so much fun running up and down the beach, splashing in the ocean, and collecting shells...it made my mama heart so very happy to witness it all.
Thanks, we are, and tomorrow it is suppose to feel like summer, can't wait!
Hurray... the sun finally found you !!! I think you should consider a longer stay.. Myrtle beach is looking amazing. Have a fun week with your family !!!
It has, and we are enjoying it. Haha, I would love to, but we are actually leaving a few days early. I had forgotten about the time change, and we are driving straight home, no overnight. So with 19 hours of driving ahead of me, I want to leave before the time change, which means we will be on the road home in the wee hours of Saturday morning, arriving home just in time to lose an hour :)
Well, not quite shorts, but pants rolled up :) I have to admit going outside without having to pile on layers of winter gear feels amazing, and I am not looking forward to the snow and cold that awaits us at home.
Wow! Now that is wonderful to see... so happy you guys are getting some well needed sunshine and warmth. xoxo
