It came off the needles almost a month ago, and judging by the many times I have worn, yes, I do indeed love my February Lady Sweater.
This was a top down knit, with a lovely repetitive pattern that was easy to memorize. I loved knitting it, and love wearing it even more. There will definitely be another in my future.
I love it all Kim, the sweater, the buttons, the gate handles, all of it are just so beautiful. I have had the February Lady Sweater in my queue since I first learned to knit, but have yet to cast on ,now seeing yours I will be casting on soon.
What a beautiful sweater and a lovely interesting way of presenting it. Is that door on your land? Such a detailed handel on such rustic wood, I wonder what it looked like when it was brand new? Thank you for your beautiful card, it arrived today.
Thanks Emma. Yes, it is a gate that goes out to the "back forty". Justin found it years ago, and we thought it looked lovely on the gate. Justin made the gate out of old barn boards.
Your February Lady Sweater is beautiful!! I adore the color you picked for it! I made one for myself a while back and it is one of my favorites. The only thing I changed was the sleeve length, I made my sleeves longer.
Beautiful, Kim! I especially love those handmade, I'm assuming ;), buttons. I've tried those myself quite a few times, but no matter what I do, they get huge cracks in our arid climate. I will try again someday, but for now I'll admire yours. Love the color too. Like Marigolds.
I've been sitting on this pattern for a while, I even already have the yarn. I thought it would be perfect for my mother, who has been asking for a sweater for several years. I'm not quite disciplined enough to take on adult sweaters. Vests I can usually manage. Although, I'm on year two of one for John. Well, maybe if I cast on now I'll have them both down by Christmas!
Love the handle, love the gate. It looks like the gateway to a secret garden.
Love your knit Kim, the buttons, the pattern, gorgeous. I have this on my list of things to knit. I'm currently knitting the Tea Leaves Cardi in a gorgeous natural green and I'm loving it. Slowly but surely.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful photos. Much love xo
Awe, thank you Julie. I should look at the Tea Leaves Cardi, I think that would be a good one to knit too. Slowly but surely is the best way to go my friend.
My pleasure, sending much love and hugs your way. xo
