"A photo of my little man, once a week, every week, in 2015"
Reece, as your dad and I walk up the road on our after dinner walks, you hop on your scooter and speed ahead. You stop regularly, and turn back to look at us, and your face just shines with joy.

DeleteThat boy just radiates happiness, and what a lovely thing it is :)
ReplyDeleteOh goodness, thank you for those lovely words. xo
DeleteLook at that long hair! Oh my! :)
ReplyDeleteI know! We actually trimmed it a little yesterday, just to clean up the ends. It looks great, and he is so happy with it.
DeleteOh wow! that is a really nice one, his smile says a lot :)

Thanks, he is a pretty happy guy when he can scooter along the road, feeling the wind on his face, and getting a little taste of freedom :)

How is it that he looks even older than he did just one week ago?! Time really needs to slow down just a wee bit! xo
ReplyDeleteSo much growth right now Shel, it is amazing, and a little bittersweet.

I barely recognized him! Look at that hair... He looks like he should be surfin' the California waves. Oh to ride your bike for the first time in 2015, I know my husband is DYING! We are hoping he can start commuting by bike in April. Just a gorgeous shot dear Kim, the natural, candid nature of it... My favorite so far this year!
ReplyDeleteHaha, yes, and I think he would enjoy that :) He was actually on his scooter, no bike yet, but soon. Although I think he has outgrown his bike from last year, so we might need to search out a bigger one.
DeleteThanks Yanic! xo
he has such a wonderful light and energy about him
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet words, thank you Aimee.

ReplyDeleteThank you Susan, and yes, he is joy, most of the time :)
DeleteLook at that smile!!
ReplyDeleteHow magical to catch that wonderful smile!
ReplyDeleteIt was a lucky catch :)
DeleteHis hair is so long! I love it!! He's definitely changing from a young boy to a young man!!
ReplyDeleteIt is! He got a little trim on Saturday, but it is still long, just the way he wants it :)
DeleteAnd yes, every day, I see more of the young man he will be.
What a sweet face!
ReplyDeleteI agree :)
DeleteSuch a happy face, and I do love that hair long.
ReplyDeleteHe has been a pretty happy guy lately :) The hair got a little trim, and while still long, it looks a little more cleaned up. Reece is happy with it, and that is all that matters.
DeleteLovely smile, lovely light. Even his smile is changing in the two weeks I've been away. It goes to fast. Lovely capture.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Much too fast, but I have to admit I am enjoying every bit of it, and trying to soak up each moment as it comes. xo
