Looks like we had similar evenings :) I'm picking up my February Lady again today too. http://momentsofpeacemama.wordpress.com/2014/09/09/morning-noon-night-13/
I just hopped over and took a peek at your day, love the colour of your sweater. Thanks for playing along.
i love how you do your homeschooling in nature... and your sweater is looking wonderful so far !!!
Thanks, nature is a big part of our lives, so it only makes sense that we include it in our homeschooling days. It is coming, slowly but surely. I can't wait to wear it.
What a nice day! And how cosy this knit looks!
It was a lovely day. And I hope it is cozy when I am done with it :)
Oooh what's happening in that middle picture - looks like a lot of fun indeed....
It was a ton of fun. We we were weaving with Y shaped tree branches as our loom. Kids and mama loved it!
Weaving with sticks! That is brilliant. I must try this. :)
You will love it, I sure did!
look at you go on that sweater!! You know that is my color....just sayin'. Love that first pic of him leaving but looking back at you :) :)
I am getting there Karen. Promised myself to knit 4 rows per day, and so far so good. I knew that :) Thank you, I didn't mean to capture that, he just happened to turn around as I clicked. It was a pure luck photo. Sometimes those are the best ones.
Reece is so photogenic and you get the most wonderful photos of him Kim. And your knitting, it looks wonderful!
Awe, thank you Tracey. I try my best, and keep working to improve my photography skills :) I have to admit I am super pleased with how it is knitting up, a little giddy actually. I am so looking forward to wearing it.
I love the loom idea! So going though our branches for that tomorrow. :-) Seems like you had a wonderful day.
Thanks. You will love it. I had a blast with it, and so did the kiddos. It was a wonderful day, our first day of "school". The kiddos settled into their homeschool rhythm really well and we enjoyed a very beautiful day.
Three gorgeous moments! xo
Thanks Julie. xo
Are those looms?! How lovely!!! What a nice afternoon (and morning and evening) you must have had. I love these little glimpses into your day.
They certainly are :) I gathered some y shaped branches, I warped them, and then we got weaving. It was a ton of fun, and well enjoyed by all three of us.We had a lovely day, it was our first day of homeschool, second year of kindergarten. If the day is anything like the year is going to be, it is going to be one awesome year :)Thank you. xo
