    1. Thanks! We are in full fall mode here, even the weather is co-operating. It has been quite chilly over the last week. I am hoping for a few warmer days ahead.

  2. I especially love the last two photograph! I agree with Sylvia, it looks so fall-y! The weather here the past couple of days have been fall like. I need to start flipping the house to fall decoration. The food is already leaning that way. My favorite season :-)
I joined you this week! http://ihappyree.blogspot.com/2014/09/morningnoonnight_16.html

    1. Thanks. Monday is soup day in our home, for lunch, so the kiddos help with the chopping. They love it, and I enjoy the help :)

Definitely fall like here. I just got back from a run, and I had to wear my winter hat....yup, the seasons are shifting. It is welcome though.

Hopping over to see your day, thanks for playing along. xo

    1. Indeed! They had to help him cross the road. He was safely transplanted to the tall grass and wild flowers in the ditch :)

    3. No recipe, unfortunately, I just threw everything in the pot. Sauteed onion and garlic, added the squash, a few sweet potatoes, some cumin and coriander, a little sea salt and vegetable broth (about 4 cups with 2 cups of water). When the squash and potatoes were cooked I blended it all in the Vitamix, returned it to the pot and added 1/3 cup of full fat coconut milk. Then it was served and enjoyed by all.

      Hope that helps. xo

  5. I love the shift to fall. I am really looking forward to it this year (while we've been in Texas we've missed the drastic seasonal changes that we're used to so getting back to that is something I am thrilled about!)
    Your table decorations are lovely.

    1. Me too. Actually I love the shift into each season. I find when the shift starts, I am always ready for a change, and welcome whatever season is coming. Thanks, it is definitely feeling like fall both inside and out :)

Thanks for playing along. Heading over now to take a look at your day.

  7. My daughter sets Emerson up at the table to practice to her knife skills just like Reece and his friend are doing. She keeps telling me I need to practice too, I can cook well, but always cut myself ;)

    1. Thanks KC. I love my harvest table. It was raining actually, but not the whole day. It started as I began cooking, and rained all night.

  10. Your home is so lovely. Inside and out. I'm glad the catapiller made it to safety. I hope it makes it before the cold comes. I had a laugh at your second picture. I was trying to figure out why they were cutting up beeswax candles. Hehe. Butternut squash soup sounds delicious. Have a great week.
