"A photo of my little man, once a week, every week, in 2014"
And that scarf around your neck...I love that on this chilly morning you ran back into the house before leaving in search of a mama handmade to keep you warm on our walk. It makes my heart sing to know how much you enjoy the things I make for you.

Great shot! Love the scarf :)
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteI was down there as well with my guy. What a great spot. I, also was mesmerized. What an amazing thing to watch.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo!
It is pretty amazing, and never gets old. Glad you were able to see it. Thank you.
DeleteThat sounds wonderful, are there many, many salmon leaping? How amazing to see something like that. We frequently see the odd trout leaping into the air for flies and just that fills me with wonder, I would love to see your salmon! And the scarf looks perfect for your walk, Reece clearly has excellent taste!
ReplyDeleteYou wouldn't believe how many Sally. I will have some photos up tomorrow :) It happens every year at this time, as they head up stream to spawn. It really is amazing.
Deleteyour salmon run is early... we're expecting ours close to halloween. have a great weekend !!!
ReplyDeleteI bet that is due to the difference in our weather :)
DeleteHe is getting so big! And the scarf, so jaunty :)
ReplyDeleteJaunty is a very good description :) And yes, he is!
DeleteEach week I see a change in your young man Kim and such a handsome fellow he is too. I love seeing him wearing his mama knits!
ReplyDeleteThank you Tracey. I am loving this little photo project, I too see the changes. I can't wait to put a little book together at the end of year with all the photos.
DeleteBeautiful shot! I see scarf... seems you had a similar week-end to ours. *brrrr*
ReplyDeleteWishing you a beautiful week. xo
Yes, it was a little chilly, down to 3 degrees last night. Suppose to warm up again this week, fingers crossed they are right. xo
DeleteI love that cowl :) Happy days now that the weather is a bit crisp.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I knit that for him three years ago, I think. He picked the yarn :)
DeleteHas Reece's hair got lighter over summer? from soaking up all that sunshine.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful way to mark the changing seasons, just think it's so important that our young ones are exposed to and understand nature.
Hope you are well xx
Yes, a little lighter. It is a wonderful way to mark the changing seasons, and one of the reasons I love this time of year. You would think it would get old watching them, but it never does. I think we are heading back tomorrow :)
Deletexo
Nice pic. I love the scarf too.
ReplyDeleteMy little guy used to wear all the colours of the rainbow, but, since he's started school the colours have slowly disappeared. Now 'boy colours' is what he wants to wear. One of those negative things about public school.
Thanks! Yes, the peer pressure, never easy on kiddos.
