{This Moment}

{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.

If you're inspired to do the same, leave a link to your 'moment' in the comments for all to find and see. Inspired by Soulemama.

  3. Sunshine and snail - yay! Bea was doing the exact same thing the other day - she was so intrigued she almost put the snail in her mouth! Escargot seemed to be on her menu...haha!

  4. We used to race snails, back when I lived in California! They're so fascinating.

    My moment comes from a May Day tradition my family has been enjoying for almost two decades: http://playguitar4him.blogspot.com/2013/05/this-moment-may-day-baskets.html

  9. snails! we have lots of those in our yard. When Finn was younger, he used to like to let them crawl up his arm... and leave a long slimy (hard to get off) trail!

  11. Is there anything that slows down time like watching a tiny snail make his way along? My kids are always similarly fascinated!

  13. There is just so much natural learning taking place in this photo! It's wonderful when we can just step back and allow them to observe in their own space and pace. Slow, slimy things are perfect for that, aren't they? ;0

    I hope you'll take a "moment" to come by my little corner of the world...
