Delightful



Right now
the apple blossoms
are gently falling
from the tree. 
The lilacs are in full bloom. 
Step outside our front door.
Inhale.
Their scents delightfully fill the air.
Both are reminders to be mindful,
to live here, now, in this moment, 
for their beauty does not last.

    I used to pull single lilac flowers off and suck the nectar out of the tube part :)

    Oooh! That looks so lovely! We are still waiting for the lilacs to bloom. The leaves just came out and everything is just beginning to turn green. Have a good week Kim!

      Thanks Tiffany. We are in the height of it now and it is amazing. This evening the smell of lilac was so strong and beautiful. Huge bouquets are in every room of our house :)
