{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words -
capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary
moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.

ReplyDeleteOur moment comes from the Memorial Day parade on Monday. I just love that they stood this way all on their own. All I said was: "Girls, look over here!" :)

Have a great weekend, my friend!
Thanks Shel, we was picking rocks out of the water. My pack was about 10lbs heavier on the hike back to the car :)
DeleteIt looks like that lake stretches on forever! Great place to relax and meditate.
ReplyDeleteMy moment this week comes from my little girl discovering where the sun is for the first time!

Have a happy weekend!
It is a lovely spot. There was a heavy mist over the lake which kinda obscures the view of the horizon. It was really beautiful and peaceful. We were the only ones there :)
DeleteI love how the horizon is just a blend of blues, barely visible. It makes both the water and sky look completely endless, how dreamy!
ReplyDeleteThanks Simona. There was a heavy mist over the lake, and it did look endless.

Thank you Jessica :)
DeleteDid your little one find anything interesting??
ReplyDeleteTons of beautiful rocks, which I had to carry out in the back pack :)
DeleteOMG ~ at first glance I thought he was hanging over a cliff (and my heart went to my throat!) and then I realized it was a pool of water. That was a whole optical experience for me! Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend :)

Ha, do you really think I would let him do that :) We are at a spot at the end of the hiking trail. It finishes at Lake Ontario. It is a very rocky beach and he was leaning over a large log picking rocks from the water.
DeleteEnjoy your weekend too :)
Gorgeous! The water is Mesmerising xx
ReplyDeleteOh, this made me nervous! But from reading your responses to other comments, I realize there is no reason to be. ;) What a wonderful vantage point. Hope your weekend is lovely, Kim!
ReplyDeleteHaha, I wondered if it might do that :) No reason to be worried at all. Thank you!
