Good Things

Life is full of good things, we just need to stop long enough to see them.
Here's just a few of the good things we have been noticing around here.

~ Garlic, and lots of it, peeking up from beneath its winter cover.

~ Our flock enjoying their time in the yard and the warmer temperatures.

~ Little bits of colour, a little hint of things to come.

~ The seeds are sprouting. I always get a little smile on my face when those little bits of green start poking out.

~ The beds are ready and waiting. This weekend seeds will be planted...kale, swiss chard, beets and mixed greens.

~ My little man loves flowers. When I got home from a little mama time on Tuesday morning this was waiting for me. Love.

~ The back deck fireplace is ready to go. First fire of the season will be tonight.

What good things are you noticing in your part of the world?

  1. Lots of goodness and beautiful things here! I especially love the flowers from Reece :)

We're also looking forward to al fresco dining in our garden now that the temperatures are rising and the days are getting longer.

    Enjoy!

  2. The fireplace is amazing! What fun! I also get crazy excited when I see my seeds poke their little heads out of the ground. Even though I understand the science, it still seems like a miracle every time.

  3. Always so wonderful to focus on the good! We are enjoying busy homeschool mornings and much creativity in our home right now. I am also enjoying baking a lot this week. Still waiting for our spring. Can't wait to plant our garden, see the leaves and green grass and spend endless amounts of time outside in nature. Thanks for sharing your goodness Kim! :)

  5. Your home and world is awesome! :) We are noticing a lot more green around here with the trees changing over and our seeds popping through the soil. A new garden is in the works so hopefully we'll be sowing many more seeds soon.
