"A photo of my little man, once a week, every week, in 2014"

Reece, what a week! The snow just kept on falling, and you were so excited. It was a joy to watch you enjoy these first snowfalls, to see you running, jumping, and sliding in the snow. You truly enjoy each moment in every day, inside or outside, and I am so happy to be along for the ride.

    1. You can say that again :) It is melting today though, and rain in the forecast for tomorrow. But more will fall again soon, that we know for sure.

  2. Oh ... it is such a contrast with us, as we had a so so sunny week with more than 20°C every day...We definitely need cold temperatures to feel the winter coming... I can really see the joy on Reece's face, that a beautiful portrait!

  4. He's at such a perfect age to really appreciate it now. Good thing, since I expect you're going to have quite a bit more over the year.

    1. It is fun, and such a wonderful peek at the growth in one year. He was very pleased with the snow, although when he gets up this morning and sees his snowman he will not be...it warmed up overnight and rained :(

      Thanks, you too!

  7. Well, there was a lot, sadly, it warmed up and rained overnight, so now we just have a big mess.

  12. Look at all that fluffy goodness. Like you, we are unfortunately getting biblical rainfall today. I'm afraid this may be the en of our first snow. My daughter made me promise that we would have more for Christmas. I said all I could do was pray. :-)

    1. It was lovely while it lasted, not a snowflake is left now. But we know more is coming, and we will look forward to that. It will be like having another "first" snowfall :)
