"A photo of my little man, once a week, every week, in 2014"
Reece, collecting rocks again, and washing them in the creek. On this morning you found five special rocks to bring home to your growing collection. You carefully washed them, and packed them safely in your pocket, then reached for my hand, ready to head home.

Hi Kim! I received your postcard from the swap yesterday, thank you!! It was nice seeing Toronto again :)
ReplyDeleteYay, glad you got it! You are very welcome.
Deleteahhh Reece-- I think you and I would get along well. I always come home with pockets full of rocks.
ReplyDeleteI think you two would definitely get along well :)
Deletethen you reach for my hand-----I miss those days, Kim! Treasure them :) (but I know you will!)
ReplyDeleteOh Karen, I am :)
DeleteHe is really growing Kim. Even with Reece squatting down you can see how long his legs are getting. My Mike still brings home rocks and he is 51 years old.
ReplyDeleteHe is Tracey, and I am actually enjoying the whole process, seeing his stretch and lengthen. It is pretty amazing, even if it is bittersweet.
DeleteAnd yes, I have one of those too. Reece's obsession over rocks comes from Justin, who is forever bringing rocks home too.
Oh that sounds so wonderful - and a lovely beach to choose rocks from!
ReplyDeleteOur adventures always are :)
DeleteSweet little man... So attentive.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a wonderful week ahead. xo
Thanks Yanic, same to you. xo
