Oh my, that hen is darling!!! What variety is she? Those flowers are lovely and what a beautiful evening stroll. Isn't the light in the evening just perfect these days? Love it!
ReplyDeleteHere are my peeks from Sunday. http://familyfaithfoodfabric.wordpress.com/2014/08/03/morning-noon-and-night-17/
Wishing you a lovely day my friend! xo
Thanks, she is one amazing hen that holds a special place in our hearts. She is a top hat chicken, otherwise known as a Bearded Buff Laced Polish Hen. We love her.
DeleteThanks, all from the garden, looking forward to next year when the cutting garden is in place. And yes, it was lovely, just after a rainfall, and the sun starting to peek out again.
Thanks for playing along. xo
Your chicken has the BEST hairdo ever! I played along this week: http://mamagonegreen.blogspot.com/2014/08/morning-noon-and-night.html
ReplyDeleteHaha, thanks! It looks great now, a few months ago she was bald. Our rooster, who is no longer with us, pecked the feathers right off her head towards the end of the winter. So happy they all grew back in.
DeleteThanks for playing along. xo
Looks like an absolute glorious day! What kind of chicken is that? Quite the feathers!

Deletewow! look at those cut flowers, so vibrant and I love the lighting you captured from the window-so pretty and so home-y!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Karen, they are all from the garden. Every few days the jars around the house get fresh flowers, and whenever I see them they make me smile.
DeleteLove that chicken's hairdo! Your flowers are gorgeous and colourful, and you can't beat an evening walk this time of year!

ReplyDeletePretty flowers too.
Thanks Tracey, she is pretty awesome. I would love more chickens too, and ducks, Reece and I are slowly convincing Justin :)
DeleteOh, I just read all the comments and saw the answer, I will have to see if they will do okay here.
ReplyDeleteI am sure they would. She is very gentle, and loves to be held. She will fall asleep in Justin's arms and hang out there for hours :)
DeleteI love that chicken. What breed is it? And lovely picture of the road!

ReplyDeleteThanks Shel. I don't usually take my camera to the chicken coop in the morning, but did on Monday, and she was ready and waiting to pose for the camera. xo
