"A photo of my little man, once a week, every week, in 2015"

Reece, while I was working to identify a wild flower this week on one of our walks, you sat on a bench nearby. You were very quiet, and a few times I looked over my shoulder to watch you; you were lost in your own thoughts. Gosh, what I wouldn't give to know what was going through your mind. As I walked towards the bench to sit with you, you stared right at me. Those eyes get me every time, so big and soulful. Sometimes I think you can see deep down to my soul with those eyes of yours, and I hope when you do, that you see just how much I love you.

    Simply beautiful (your words and your sweet boy). I feel the same way about my girls and I hope that when they see that deeply into my soul they know how much I love them as well. What an amazing gift this journey of motherhood is. Truly the most amazing thing I've ever experienced (and probably ever will)! xo

    What a wonderful face, soulful is the perfect word for him. And those eyes. He is what my mother would have called 'an old soul'.

      Thank you Aimee :) Yes, from the day he was born, those eyes have said "old soul", and so many people have made that comment over the years. He truly is on old soul, with so many valuable lessons to share with me.

    He has such a sweet quiet spirit. It shines in all of these photos. I can still see a little baby in thwese pictures, but don't tell him I said that ;)
