Dreaming

As we move into another deep freeze this week, I am dreaming of summer...the gardens, mornings on the front porch, meals on the back deck, evenings by the fire, laundry blowing in the breeze and the sun, the beautiful sun shining down on me sprinkling her golden rays upon my shoulders. Oh summer, I am so looking forward to seeing you again.

  1. Oh, I just picked up arrugula in the garden yesterday, as we do not have a cold winter this year, but you know, sometimes I wish we could have a good cold week to be a real winter!

    1. How lovely. A good cold week...if only winter was that long :) It seems this is the never ending winter. We have enjoyed it, but are ready for that lovely shift in seasons now.

  5. We are going to have cold and rain all week too! I'm so glad I held off on planting the tomatoes just yet. I'll need to go out and cover the winter squash I planted. Eeek.

Swoon over your garden to be already! :)

  8. Just swop rain for snow and I know how you feel! But I'm sure Spring is just around the corner now. And perhaps Summer will feel all the more wonderful this year for the harsh Winter you've had.
