Making:
~ A little
gardeners hand salve, we have been using this a lot around here.
~ Some body butter, one to give away and the rest for me.
~ Another milo finished...babies in hand knits make me smile.
~ Rainy day water colours with my little man.
Listening:
~ We are still enjoying the sounds of Mother Nature around here...rain on the tin roof, the early morning call of the birds, the howl of the coyotes at dusk. She really does provide beautiful sounds, we just need to tune in and listen.

All this made me smile on this dreary rainy day :) Thanks for sharing all the goodness :)
ReplyDeleteHappy to make you smile Renee :)
DeleteSuch a sweet milo and I love the watercolours - they would make beautiful greeting cards. We had a gorgeous sunny day here yesterday but the clouds are looking pretty dark this morning, I hope it holds off for my morning jaunt with Joseph. Have a great day :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Carrie. One of those watercolours did become a card today :) Hope the rain held off for your walk. We had mixture here today...sun, rain, sun, rain. It really needs to warm up.
DeleteI listened to rain and birds and thunder this morning, it was a beautiful mix :) Love the hand salve and the body butters!!!
ReplyDeleteI bet! Thanks Karen.
DeleteThat watercolor is so pretty! I wish water supplies were easier to get a hold of here. We always have to drive somewhere were there is no parking.
ReplyDeleteThis this morning we took a walk in the woods and I had S sit and listen to the woods and try to identify the sounds we were hearing. It was a little harder cause were were next to the river. But she heard the water flowing, the birds chirping and the wind blowing through the leaves.
Thanks KC! Reece and I had fun doing them.
DeleteBeautiful nature moment :)
The salve and body butter looks divine. Pretty knits and art work mama!
ReplyDeletelove them all! you should do a post on your salve/body butters! would love to hear what you put in yours...
ReplyDeleteI just might do that one day. I have linked to the hand salve recipe I use :)
DeleteOh lovely, Kim. That salve looks so lovely and soothing. Enjoy these lovely days x
ReplyDeleteThanks, I will, you too!
DeleteThanks for joining in again this week Kim! It is always fun to see & hear the making & doing round your neck of the woods.
ReplyDeleteWhat I would not give for some rain right now. Weeks & weeks without!
I have a beeswax melting project going on tomorrow... I might just have to add hand salve to the agenda while I have the supplies out. Thanks for the reminder!
My pleasure Dawn, always nice to join in. And thank you for hosting. Hope you had fun with the beeswax today :)
DeleteAll of your hand-mades look wonderful, Kim. Oh, the salves look like just what I need!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kristen. They are super easy to make, give it a try :)
