Blooming

We see them everywhere,
flowers.
Some are bold and strong,
others quiet and delicate.

When one stops blooming,
another starts.
A neverending parade of colour
and beauty.

They promise a season
of splendor,
from spring right
thru fall.

All they ask of us;
stop,
take time to look,
smell
and enjoy.

  2. As I was on a walk last night, through the quiet streets of Portland, I was just admiring how many different flowers were in bloom and soaking up how beautiful it all was. Even being in a city, nature impresses.

  3. It would seem spring took a while to reach your neck of the woods but I am glad it did! I've enjoyed seeing the season change through the flowers here. IT's been neat to see the early risers and late comers.
