It has been quite a week around here. I am successfully knitting in the round, yay!!! I have also learned the long tail cast on, and quite like it. And I now finally know what “kf&b” means and how to do it. Deciding to cast on the milo was just what I needed to take myself out of my knitting comfort zone and learn a few new things. I am pretty excited about the opportunities this will open up for me in my knitting!!!
So, I have begun my first milo. There are quite a few pregnant mamas in my life right now and I am excited to be knitting up some lovely baby knits for them. This milo, if all goes well, will be the first of four.
One the reading front, doula reading is taking up a large chunk of my reading time, but I did manage to find some time to read this lovely magazine that arrived in the mail on Friday. It is one of my favourites and I really enjoy reading it.
What are you knitting and reading this week?
