It is a monarch caterpillar we found and are raising. Lots of fun in our home right now :)
Oh yes, a future naturalist! What was he looking at? An insect?
Maybe. We are raising a monarch butterfly, he is trying to get a closer look at it in the caterpillar stage. It has now formed into a chrysalis and we are waiting for it to hatch into a beautiful butterfly.
So much fun getting a closer look! And I agree... he looks so grown up in this photo! Have a wonderful weekend, Kim!
