A Weekend of Delight

Our little homestead is a happy place this weekend. Our little chicks, our first chicks, arrived on Friday.

It has been quite the weekend - excitement, joy, lots of questions and just plain fun!

    1. Thanks Kelly. We actually picked them up so he was super excited on the car ride to get them. And then all the way home all he talked about was holding them. He has had a great time with them this weekend.

  7. Aren't they adorable! It seems like you have a nice amount too - not so many that they'll be much of a chore. Have fun with those little babies!

    1. Thanks Lisa. We wanted six, thought we were getting twelve and ended up with eight. It actually seems like the perfect amount right now. We think so far one is a rooster, but since we have no idea what we are looking at, we could be wrong...time will tell :)
