So wonderful. Our chickens are still hatching. We have 12 so far. The kids have been so excited about them and my daughter has been with them almost non-stop. Looks like your son in having a great time too. Enjoy!
He is Priscilla. I am kinda hoping there is a rooster in there so we can hatch some of our own next spring :)

Thanks Tracey. I am not sure. The farmer gave us a variety of breeds. I am hoping she is going to come and see them soon and tell me what they all are. Her daughters told me they call it a "top hat" but not sure if that is the right name. She is the only of this breed that we have. And she is Justin's favourite.

Thanks. I have been told it is a "top hat" but not sure if that is the actual name or a nickname for this breed. We were given a few different breeds, hoping the farmer will come over soon to help us identify them.
Oh my how cute... they have connected! We just got our newest chicks a few days ago! Fun! Here is my moment: a strawberry picking moment. Bunny is an ole pro.. this is her 2nd berry-pickin' year! http://likemamalikedaughter.blogspot.com/2012/06/this-moment_08.html

The poppies that had just bloomed that morning. Nope that is the chicks hair, called a "top hat" from what I am told. We think she is super cute and her personality is amazing.
