{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words -
capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary
moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.
If you're inspired to do the same, leave a link to your 'moment' in the comments for all to find and see. Inspired by Soulemama.
So wonderful. Our chickens are still hatching. We have 12 so far. The kids have been so excited about them and my daughter has been with them almost non-stop. Looks like your son in having a great time too. Enjoy!
Oh my goodness, how sweet is this moment?! Love this!
Our moment this week comes from checking out a surprise that arrived from Gramma: http://www.ouronesweetfamily.blogspot.com/2012/06/this-moment_08.html
Cute little chick!! What a great shot. Have a great weekend. Here's my moment...my 4 year old in her pretty dress - she wanted to sleep in it! http://discoveringblog.com
Thanks Tracey. I am not sure. The farmer gave us a variety of breeds. I am hoping she is going to come and see them soon and tell me what they all are. Her daughters told me they call it a "top hat" but not sure if that is the right name.
She is the only of this breed that we have. And she is Justin's favourite.
Oh my -so cute (both the chick and the boy). What are they looking at?? Here's our moment: http://www.simplejoyfulliving.com/2012/06/here-and-now_08.html
Thanks. I have been told it is a "top hat" but not sure if that is the actual name or a nickname for this breed. We were given a few different breeds, hoping the farmer will come over soon to help us identify them.
Oh my how cute... they have connected! We just got our newest chicks a few days ago! Fun! Here is my moment: a strawberry picking moment. Bunny is an ole pro.. this is her 2nd berry-pickin' year! http://likemamalikedaughter.blogspot.com/2012/06/this-moment_08.html
I'd love to hear what they are talking about!! And that little puffy hair on the chick (or is it bed-head?? Ha!!;).... too cute!! Have a lovely weekend.
The poppies that had just bloomed that morning. Nope that is the chicks hair, called a "top hat" from what I am told. We think she is super cute and her personality is amazing.
What a great picture! Such a great moment! Here is mine, with a fw words to explain as it is rather bizarre at first glance! http://therumseyfarmyear.blogspot.com/2012/06/this-moment_08.html Enjoy your weekend!
