{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.
If you're inspired to do the same, leave a link to your 'moment' in the comments for all to find and see. Inspired by Soulemama.
Looks like some puddle jumping fun! Our Miss E saw a puddle this week and said "only if I had my boots". That nearly knocked me over with laughter! Happy Weekend!
ReplyDeleteHaha, that is too cute! Reece jumps in puddle boots or not boots :)
DeleteOh pure happiness right there. My littles can't wait for the snow to melt and for there to be puddles to splash around in!
ReplyDeleteHere is mine to share this week, my little masked crusader...

Reece had a blast! This picture was taken earlier in the week, there are no more puddles, just lots of snow now.
DeleteWow - what's he thinking? Love the reflection in the puddle.
ReplyDeleteHow much fun he can have splashing, which was exactly what he did. Thanks for noticing the reflection, it is one of the reasons I like this moment.
DeleteOh wellies, or rubber boots. I wish we had a need for those around here. They sell them, but really there's no need. I bet a mud puddle is a nice rest from all the snow! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh, we definitely need them around here, usually for a good month as the snow melts. It was a nice rest from the snow, unfortunately we had another dump of snow two days after this picture.
DeletePuddles are so fun! Our moment is about some much wished for snow! Something we have had very little of here in New England this winter!

Have a fabulous weekend!
They are. Confession, I actually jumped in there with him after this shot :) Fun!!!!
DeleteSo did he jump up and down and splash? That's what mine would have done at that age. It would have been a splash fest. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteIt was a splash fest, we had lots of fun! And then promptly headed home to get out of our wet clothes :)
Delete"dur dee wa wa" is what Zinnia just said. She loves to splash in it too!

happy weekend!
I think all kids love to splash too, there is just something about a puddle that secretly calls to them. Glad she liked the picture :)
DeleteWhat a great shot! Here is our moment:

Of course I did :) We both ended up a little wet.

Have a lovely weekend Kim.
How wet can he get me :)
DeleteHope you have a lovely weekend too Julie.
Creating waves...it's what kids do best, right? I love taking my kids out in their rain gear and letting them splash until they can splash no more. What good is being a kid if you can't splash in puddles or play in piles of leaves?

I agree! And yes making waves is so much fun, we were at it again today.
DeletePuddle time!
ReplyDeleteYes, and we love it!
DeleteWe LOVE puddle fun!! The wetter the better... :) Thanks for sharing.
