  1. My boys love adventures in the rain. Your FLS is coming along so nicely! I need to pull mine out and see if I can finish - I'm on the last sleeve and the whole sweater has been in progress for 17 months!

    1. Rain adventures are the best, so many things to see and notice. Thanks, I am working away on the sleeves, slowly. Christmas gift making is taking up a bit more time now, so the sweater has taken a back seat. Hoping to get it done soon though.

      Thanks for playing along.

    1. That would be a snake that got run over by a car :) They were mesmerized by it, trying to figure out what kind it was, and which end was the head and which was the tail. Lots of fun!

We do have plans for it. We will do a little more carding next week, and then dye it and do a little wet felting. My plan is to dye it yellow so we can wet felt some stars and make a garland for the holidays. I know the kiddos want to do some other colours as well, so we will do that too, and I will let them wet felt something with it.

  6. What a fun productive day! Playing in the rain, how fun... Did you get the wool at the fair? What are your plans for it, felting? Your knitting looks wonderful as always. Wishing you a lovely rest of the week xox

    1. It was a fun day! No, I had picked it at our local yarn shop. I didn't want to leave it to the last minute to get just in case. We will continue to card some more, and then dye it to use for some wet felting projects. The first will be making yellow stars so we can make a garland for the holidays. The kids are pretty excited about it. They also have plans to dye some other colours, and will create what they like with it.

  9. Rainy walks are fun, but I feel bad for the snake. Carding is a joy and your sweater is a lot further along than mine ;) oh joy, ran out of the right color of yarn.. Guess it will be a vest now hehe. Take care.

    1. Awe, the kiddos did too, for a bit, then they were interested in figuring out where the head and tail were and what kind it was.

It is, and the kids loved it! Oh no, at least it will make a nice vest :)
