"A photo of my little man, once a week, every week, in 2014"
Reece, it was a long hike to the water, but when we got there you ran towards it. You were still for a moment, just staring out, taking it all in. I could feel a sense of calm come over you, and see the release of a deep breath.

My kind of place! I saw a quote recently - 'I love places that make you realise how tiny you and your problems are', large expanses of water definitely have that effect on me and give me that feeling of calm that Reece obviously enjoyed.
ReplyDeleteOh I love that quote! That is exactly how I felt standing at the top of the Canadian Rockies, so insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Water has the same effect on me as well.
Deleteit is such a nice shot!
ReplyDelete...water has the same effect on me too. Beautiful image.
ReplyDeleteHe comes by it naturally Camilla, because it has the same effect on my too. Thank you. xo

I want to stay there just like that for a long time.
ReplyDeleteTrust me, we did :) It was lovely, although a little chilly. There was quite a breeze coming off the lake.
Deletelove the colors in the pebble-y rocks.
ReplyDeleteThanks. There are some pretty awesome rocks there :)
DeleteHe's so lucky to have that view, what a great place (and great picture). I need to take my kids more!
ReplyDeleteWe feel pretty lucky every time we are in nature. Mother Nature is pretty darn awesome.
