42/52

"A photo of my little man, once a week, every week, in 2014"

Reece, it was a long hike to the water, but when we got there you ran towards it. You were still for a moment, just staring out, taking it all in. I could feel a sense of calm come over you, and see the release of a deep breath.

  1. My kind of place! I saw a quote recently - 'I love places that make you realise how tiny you and your problems are', large expanses of water definitely have that effect on me and give me that feeling of calm that Reece obviously enjoyed.

    1. Oh I love that quote! That is exactly how I felt standing at the top of the Canadian Rockies, so insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Water has the same effect on me as well.

    1. Trust me, we did :) It was lovely, although a little chilly. There was quite a breeze coming off the lake.
