See Ya Winter

We love winter, we really do, but this winter has been harsh and we are so ready to see the end of it. We have thoroughly enjoyed playing, skating, hiking, tobogganing, building snowmen, tracking, making snow forts and more, but now we are ready for puddles, warmer temperatures and little snowdrops peeking out from the earth.

While I know it is coming, I am in need of warmth and sun. So a few weeks ago Reece and I, with Justin's agreement, decided to plan a visit south to see my parents. As you read this we are on our way to South Carolina to soak up some warmth from the sun, to walk on the beach, and to dip our toes in the ocean. There are plans to hike and explore, plans to swim and relax and plans to go with the flow and just enjoy some time away with my little man. And of course there will be lots of time to visit and catch up with my mom and dad, and to watch my little man with his nana and papa.

I am so looking forward to this. Here we come South Carolina, are you ready for us?

  4. Safe travels Kim. We woke to eight inches of snow. I hope winter's grand finale hasn't delayed your search for the sun.
