~ for a little man who loves being outside as much as I do
~ for "I love you" whispered into my ear frequently throughout the day
~ for hints of spring
~ for the beauty of snow, it really is beautiful...yes, even in March
~ for trusting my gut in a society that often pushes too much, too soon and too fast
~ for the very best teacher a mother could ask for
~ for our home, a place where my soul feels at peace
~ for this life and the people I get to share it with
What are you grateful for today?
What a wonderful list... This is my favorite and I'm grateful for it in my life as well : "for trusting my gut in a society that often pushes too much, too soon and too fast"... We are going through major sleep issues with our youngest and so many tell us to let him cry it out. We can't do it. We don't believe in it. Babies need love, not someone that will leave them in the dark in distress. So to my gratitude list, I will also ass : for a husband that shares the load equally and without question.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful "day-after-the-storm"!
Thank you. I hear you on the crying it out, we couldn't do it either, deep inside it just didn't feel right. Hope he is sleeping better soon.
DeleteI love you addition, I have one of those too :)
I will certainly try, you too!
Among a million little things, I'm grateful for this snow-dusted morning and it's pinky-orange sunrise. What a way to start the day!
ReplyDeleteI bet that was beautiful!
DeleteI am grateful for a muddy road that is drying in the sunshine today brings.
ReplyDeleteA meal plan so I don't have to wonder what is for dinner.
Sheets on the clothes line.
Mail that brings fun surprises.
Have a beautiful day Kim.
Sheets on the clothes line...I can't wait for that :) I had a happy mail day today, finally received my blog swap package. Love it!!!!

DeleteThat first picture is just wonderful! These are such heart warming things. I smiled through reading the whole post.
ReplyDeleteRight now I am grateful for our puppy who is still potty training and since she still pees on the floor I have to mop every day thus keeping our floors very clean.
Thanks KC! He loves that "slide" that he and Justin made.
DeleteYay for keeping the floors clean :)
The snow is pretty even in March. I'm so ready for spring! I'm grateful for my 3yr old taking a nap on me as I type, healthy children, being content with what we do have.
ReplyDeleteIt it, but I am ready for spring too! Beautiful list :)
DeleteFor sunshine, finally!
ReplyDeleteWe have sunshine today too. Although it isn't warming it up that much, it is -17 with the windchill.
DeleteSome lovely things to be grateful for Kim. Today I am grateful for snow pea and sweet pea seeds popping up through the soil. xxoo
ReplyDeleteOh that sounds lovely Julie. I can't wait to see green again :)

ReplyDeletevery lovely kim. i'm grateful for so much, but today, i'm especially grateful for a very special package that arrived in the mail. xoxo
ReplyDeleteThanks Lori. You got it, yay, so happy to hear it arrived :) xo
DeleteLovely heart warming list. I'm grateful for so many things, but at the moment, particularly sunshine and light and colour, and always being a Mum and all the love that brings every which way.
ReplyDeleteAlways listen to your gut, I did and it never ever steered me the wrong way. I raised my kids against the tide as well and we never fit in with the "in" crowd but my kids were happy and in turn I was happy today!!
ReplyDeleteOh Karen, that makes me so happy to hear that. It is nice to know of others who have done the same and made it through. xo
DeleteYou are still in cold winter ... Here the spring comes early ..for once ... Have a nice week-end.
ReplyDeleteWe are! But it is feeling a little spring like today and they are calling for rain, a little better than snow. You too!
DeleteOh gosh Ive missed loads of posts - I need to catch up! Wanted to say that fence and gate are quite beautiful, with the snow, almost Narnian.
ReplyDeleteNo worries, there is never any pressure here, visit when you can :) Thank you.
