Happy May Day. Today was bitter sweet for me, this is my Pappaw's birthday, so I sat and looked at old photos and remembered him. Enjoy a great weekend.
Happy May Day to you and your sweet family, dear friend! This is one of our most favorite festivals to celebrate (pics on the blog tomorrow)! I wish we lived closer so we could leave some flowers for you! I'm sure these baskets brought a smile to everyone who received them! xo
Yes, Happy May Day. Nice to see someone celebrating it. This was never an event for me when I was growing up and I have only heard about it this year...I know, what rock have I been living under? I will have to write in on my calendar for next year.
Thank you. Not something I celebrated as a child either, but something we have incorporated into our yearly seasonal rhythm over the last few years. It is a lovely festival, and I love the simple tradition of giving surprise flowers, such a perfect time of year to do it.
Thanks KC. That's too bad, it is a really lovely, and simple tradition, that has come to mean so much for my little man and the people he leaves flowers for.
Happy May Day! We delivered a flower basket to a neighbor, planted our garden and I gave my daughter a little fairy garden surprise outside her window!
Happy May Day.
