"A photo of my little man, once a week, every week, in 2015"

Reece, we were hiking with friends on a beautiful spring day when we came across this tree, begging to be climbed. Your friend was the first one up, you were next. I love watching you climb, you have this determined desire to get to the top, but also a quiet reserve that keeps you from scaling too high. It's a good balance, and definitely helps this mama keep her cool as you climb.

    1. It's a balance for me. I am good until he gets to a certain height, and then I get a little nervous, but I bite my tongue and let him climb.

I guess Issa likes to climb too :) Keep breathing mama. xo

    1. Thanks Yanic. He is at peace in nature. It is a place he knows well, and has connected to over the years. Hey, anything is good for climbing. You will be surprised at the trees your kiddos find once they get into climbing mode, it is like kids attract them :)

Hope you are having a wonderful Mother's Day. xo

    1. Thanks Chrisy. Last year's photos are in a file, just waiting to be put into a book. I am still deciding exactly how I want to do it. I know I want to do one for us, with the captions, and words, but thinking I also want to do a few for grandparents and godparents, and not sure they actually need the words. Still thinking...

Thank you, I had the most wonderful day. Hope you did too. xo

    1. Thanks Karen. I hope you had a lovely day.

He loves his trees, you should have seen him today. We found an old cedar, we are guessing a 100 years old, it was all gnarly, and perfect for climbing. Needless to say, we spent a good chunk of time there.

      Have a lovely week. xo

  10. Great tree to climb, and sounds like he has a good balance there. My lot frequently worry me when up trees, particularly Theo, he is too fearless!
