Scenes From a Winter Day

Why, hello there Winter. You eluded us in January, bringing frigid temperatures, but no snow. It seems you were waiting for February. We were so happy to see the snow falling, falling, and falling some more this week, and even though you are still very cold, we are so happy for snow to play in.

Thank you Winter, I knew you would come.

    1. It has been pretty crisp. We were blessed yesterday with big fluffy snowflakes falling all day, and temperatures a balmy -2C. We spent most of the day outside :)

    1. Ha, that third pair isn't Justin, it is the little one who joins us to homeschool :) Justin gets out hiking, but has no interest in snowshoeing...at least not yet.

  22. Love those snow shoes all together. :) The winter has been tricking us too and I thought snow might pass us over completely for the most part, but we are set to get 8-10 inches in the next 24 hours. oh my! Looking forward to sharing it with Isadora...and maybe welcoming a snow storm baby, but unlikely. :)
