"A photo of my little man, once a week, every week, in 2015"
Reece, we spent some time peeking inside "fairy homes" in the woods this week. You were pretty sure you found tiny prints in one, left behind by a winter fairy you said. I hope you never stop looking for fairies little man.

Yes, keep you eyes peeled- you never know when they'll show up.
ReplyDeleteSo true. Last year Reece found pine cones dusted with fairy dust in the woods...it was pretty exciting ;)
DeleteHow very sweet... Hope it was warmer at your place than ours today... Brrr...
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely evening.
xo
Thanks Yanic, we love looking for fairies in the woods, and in the spring and summer we build little nature homes for them.
DeleteIt was chilly, -26 when I woke up yesterday. But the sun did come out, and we enjoyed sitting around the fire outside, with some friends, in the afternoon while the kiddos played in the snow.
Stay warm my friend. xo
I second your wish.
ReplyDeleteI pray he doesn't...ever! mari
ReplyDeleteThanks Mari. It is such a magical time in childhood with him right now, and we will both soak it up for as long as we can :)
DeleteI love how the pattern on his hat mimics the texture of the trees!
ReplyDeleteGood eye, I didn't notice that :)
DeleteYou didn't run into my Rémi did you? his cross-country ski teacher said he's always away with the fairies!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your card, it arrived on saturday.
Haha, no, but if we do, I am sure we would all have fun searching for fairies together :)
DeleteGlad to hear it arrived.
beautiful b and w photo! The contrast is stunning.
ReplyDeleteThank you Karen.
DeleteSo sweet :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Carlin.
DeleteI still look for fairies Kim and I hope Reece will too at my age.
ReplyDeletePS: I am sure by the time you get down here it will be warm, Thursday week it is suppose to be 78 degrees! :)
That is wonderful Tracey. I still do too :)
DeleteOh goodness, that is good to hear. I am looking forward to some sunshine and warmer temperatures, and of course some walks on the beach.
Beautiful photo my friend. Reece looks younger in this photo for some reason. Perhaps I'm getting older. What ever your age, never stop chasing fairies. :) Shine on.
ReplyDeleteThanks. You think so? Maybe because his hat is low down on his head. Could be the angle I took the photo at too...who knows?
DeleteAgreed, always search for fairies, doesn't matter how old you are :)
What a gorgeous imagination - I hope he's always looking for something a little magical, it makes the world a better place!
ReplyDeleteAwe, thank you. If there is one thing Reece has, it is an imagination :) I hope so too.
DeleteI love going to the woods to look for fairies, it's something we do often with my little girl :)
ReplyDeleteLluisa xoxo
That doesn't surprise me Lluisa, I take you for a fairy hunting lady :)
Deletexo
I have a feeling Reece will continue looking for fairies, and will particularly enjoy it with his children and his grandchildren.
ReplyDeleteI sure hope so Sally :)
