It's like a game to figure out which feathered friend sends which feather! :) My littles would love that actually. A truly beautiful gift.
It is! I didn't have to play it this time, as I have found a northern flicker feather before. But when I found my first one I have to admit it was quite challenging to figure it out, and I eventually needed a little help from a very experienced nature friend :)
Wow, what great colour! That rivals our subtropical lorikeets :) And a Northern Flicker, what a name! Great gift from nature. xx
It is pretty spectacular. I remember seeing the lorikeets on your blog, they are beautiful. It is a great name isn't it, and they are beautiful birds.Hope you are well my friend. xo

Yes, it is stunning, and the bird it comes from is stunning too. It is a true blessing to be aware and notice the world around us, as well as the magic in it. It takes practice, and some days I am not so good at it, but on the days when I am, goodness it does feel so good. xo
