{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.
If you're inspired to do the same, leave a link to your 'moment' in the comments for all to find and see. Inspired by Soulemama.
Beautiful. Every morning I watch the sun rise out my kitchen window but it is not a view like this. I try to capture it on film but my neighbors home take up much of my viewfinder. Thanks for this peaceful image to wake up to!
Beautiful moment. I am looking forward to spring, but I love a winter sunrise. Something about the light coming through the bare trees and it glittering on the snow, so peaceful.
Here is mine this week, a favourite past time around here, bowling! http://www.darkbluedragon.com/node/106
Oh Kim this is just gorgeous! Thanks so much for sharing this with all of us!
Our moment this week comes from my youngest daughter's fourth birthday. She refused to admit she was four until after the birthday ring ceremony! All day long she had said it was her birthday but she kept saying she was not four until this very moment! http://www.ouronesweetfamily.blogspot.com/2012/02/this-moment_24.html
Beautiful morning with the sun poking through the trees. It looks so quite and peaceful. Thanks for sharing this wonderful moment with us! Visiting via SouleMama... off to peek around your blog. Have a lovely weekend!!
Oh that looks cold! I can't even imagine that right now. Just came back from a morning at the zoo in shorts and short sleeves. Our winter mornings are over!
Actually KC, it wasn't too cold that day, it did get above zero :) Definitely not shorts and short sleeve weather. I have to admit though, I am really looking forward to the warm days ahead. Can't wait!
i love these woods... they show up in so many of your photos. they remind me of the woods I grew up in in Michigan. such a beautiful shot! :) our moment: http://journeyaroundtheson.blogspot.com/2012/02/this-moment_24.html
on a side note: but I just wanted to say that my heart was with you as your granddad had passed. I appreciated your post, which I read in google reader, but I can't find it on your blog to comment. what a reunion your nan and granddad must be having now.
Thanks Jules. I actually hit publish by mistake when I was writing it the other night, it is scheduled to go up on Monday, still adding a few more pictures. And yes, I bet they are having a wonderful reunion.
