January Fun!

I hate to curse it, but we are having some of the best January weather ever!!!! It has been spring like here for quite a few days and we have taken every opportunity to enjoy it...walking, hiking, biking, playing, splashing in puddles, you name we have done it and had a blast.

Sadly, all great things do come to an end, and our typical Canadian winter is on its way to us this weekend. But no worries here, we enjoyed the wonderful taste of spring and honestly, we are looking forward to enjoying some great winter activities too! Here's hoping the cold weather means my brother's pond will finally freeze over.

Here's a peek at the fun we have had the last couple of days.

  1. I love how you say warm weather and then show a picture of Reece with a jacket and hat on! Last week was abnormally warn for us at 80 degrees. So you could laugh at me the same way when I say it's cold at 50 degrees! Looks like you guys had a lot of fun!

    1. Ah, yes, I guess it all depends where you live :) The temperature here has been around 6 to 8 degrees celcius, about 40 to 44 degrees farenheit for you guys. This is very mild for us this time of year, spring like actually.

Old man winter is coming back this weekend though, the artic winds will be blowing in tomorrow.

    1. It was a ton of fun! Sadly, though the wonderful warm weather as passed, we are into wind, snow and ice now. At least that means ice skating and fun in the snow :)
