17/52

"A photo of my little man, once a week, every week, in 2015"

Reece, we had a return to cooler weather this week. The days were a mix of rain, hail, snow, and repeat, day after day. It was crazy, but fun! We bundled up and hit the trails for a little hike yesterday. The water in the creek was flowing fast, and you and your little friend were busy tossing sticks over the bridge, into the water, and then watching them float away on the current. The two of you played like this for quite awhile. I love that a few sticks and some water are all you need for a fun time.

    1. It was chilly, we actually had winter coats and hats on. Today the sun is shining and we don't need coats. It is par for the course this time of year in Canada :)

  4. This just made me smile. We just got back from a drizzly hike and Little Miss spent about 10 minutes throwing sticks into the stream under the foot bridge. I think her and Reece will get along famously!

Have a wonderful week-end dear friend.

    1. Thanks Darcel. I know, it was so nice the few weeks before this, and then this week has been so cool, and two mornings we woke to snow on the ground. At least today we are back to sunshine and warmer temperatures today, and the long range forecast looks good :)

  14. Some of the most fun games I remember as a child involved natural thing slike sticks and leaves and water. It is so lovely to read that simple, natural playthings are still the best. :)
