"A photo of my little man, once a week, every week, in 2015"
Reece, we had a return to cooler weather this week. The days were a mix of rain, hail, snow, and repeat, day after day. It was crazy, but fun! We bundled up and hit the trails for a little hike yesterday. The water in the creek was flowing fast, and you and your little friend were busy tossing sticks over the bridge, into the water, and then watching them float away on the current. The two of you played like this for quite awhile. I love that a few sticks and some water are all you need for a fun time.

So much said in one pair of muddy boots!
ReplyDeleteYes, so true :)
DeleteThis photo is making me chilled! Hope it warms up again for you soon!
ReplyDeleteIt was chilly, we actually had winter coats and hats on. Today the sun is shining and we don't need coats. It is par for the course this time of year in Canada :)
DeleteThat cooler weather has come out way now, jumpers and hats back out..........have a lovely week. Wonderful picture :)
ReplyDeleteStay warm and enjoy your weekend.
DeleteThis just made me smile. We just got back from a drizzly hike and Little Miss spent about 10 minutes throwing sticks into the stream under the foot bridge. I think her and Reece will get along famously!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week-end dear friend.
So happy to make you smile my friend :) I can't wait for them to meet, they are going to have a great time together.
DeleteYou too! xo
The feet tell so much of a child, don't they! :)
ReplyDeleteOh they do :)
DeleteBoots are where it's at...this time of year!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, there is so much mud around here, they are definitely part of our daily attire. All fun though :)
DeleteOh what a great shot - so simple but it says everything!
ReplyDeleteso happy that you could go outside even if the weather was bad...
ReplyDeleteBad weather never stops us, there are always surprises waiting in nature, and we must go and find them :)
DeleteLove the photo of his boots and the fence.
ReplyDeleteThe weather has cooled here as well. So hard to believe it's almost May with this crazy weather we're having.
Thanks Darcel. I know, it was so nice the few weeks before this, and then this week has been so cool, and two mornings we woke to snow on the ground. At least today we are back to sunshine and warmer temperatures today, and the long range forecast looks good :)
DeleteBeautiful photo. So simple, yet it says so much.
ReplyDeleteSounds and looks peaceful, just lovely #52

ReplyDeleteThanks Summer. We try to make the best of whatever Mother Nature throws at us, you have to up here in Canada :)
DeleteSome of the most fun games I remember as a child involved natural thing slike sticks and leaves and water. It is so lovely to read that simple, natural playthings are still the best. :)
ReplyDeleteThey are, at least in our home :)
DeleteWe've had the same weather down here! Mother Nature sure is keeping us on our toes this year! :) xo
ReplyDeleteShe is, but it is fun too...you never know what you are going to wake up to :)

Can't beat Pooh sticks and variations on it, especially with a good torrent of water.
