Looks like you had some lovely weather yesterday. Isn't it great to cast off all the layers and enjoy the sun and earth? My peek: http://throughourgardengate.blogspot.com/2014/06/morning-noon-and-night.html
We did, spring and summer arrived together and we are enjoying every bit of it. And yes, feels awesome to be out there without the layers and the woolens :)Thanks for playing along, it looks like it was a very peaceful day.
It is! Full of lots of wonderful information and so very helpful for where we are right now on our journey :)
What a fun looking day! Love the handmade bird feeders. Unfortunately, those because pray for the crazy aggressive urban squirrels we've got roaming these parts! I keep hoping we'll find a way to create a squirrel-free zone. And as always, a nice relaxing evening. Ever since we cut off cable, I'm finding myself happier. Some nights, we do jump online and stream a show for entertainment purposes, but most nights, we are just happy sitting, chatting and being. It's a wonderful thing! Here was our day last Sunday... http://familyfaithfoodfabric.wordpress.com/2014/06/01/morning-noon-and-night-12/Wishing you a wonderful week.
Thanks, it was! That is too bad about the squirrels, those urban ones can be pretty bad. Thanks for playing along :)
Looks like a wonderful day! Thanks for sharing it with us.
It was, thanks!
Oh, I'm curious to hear your opinion of the book! How nice for Reece to have a friend who is not a sibling. I'm thinking it's time we had one of those!
Highly recommend the book KC, I am only halfway through and have gained so much insight already. Reading it has been a lot of "aha" moments, just little things, but it all comes together to make sense of this time in his life and the transformation he is going through. So very helpful for us right now.Yes, I agree, it is lovely. The two of them have a very special relationship, and I have my fingers crossed our little homeschooling journey together will continue next year. I have to admit though, at times, they act just like brother and sister :)
Great day Kim and I really love you mug in the last photo, super cute.
Thanks Tracey, that mug, one of six, were a gift from my mom.
I spy knitting :) lovely set of photos and peeking into your days is fun.
You do! I have been slowly working on this piece, it is a stitch by stitch knit right now, but one day it will be a lovely cardigan for me :) Hoping I have it done for the fall. Thanks Karen.
Looks like a lovely day, and that book, and your comments about it, look interesting.
Thank you, it was. Very interesting book, I highly recommend it for mamas with kiddos moving through the 6/7 transition. Good stuff.
A lovely day. The pictures of Reece and his friend always remind me of my childhood friend Nicholas and I. Lots of nostalgia. I've been meaning to ask, with your woods and all, what do you do to combat mosquitoes?
Thank you, it was. That is so lovely to hear, the two of them have a very special relationship at the moment. We use this for the bugs, works like a charm....http://www.motheringwithmindfulness.com/2013/07/exploring-new-trail.html
Hi Kim :) Always enjoy these posts and the three little peaks into your day. The book's sparked my interest, as you know where in the midst of that transition ourselves. Must see if l can find it on-line. Big hugs xx
Thanks Chrisy. I highly recommend it. It is an wonderful read, and offer so much insight into what our little ones are going through during this transition. xo
