Around the Garden

Oh there is just so much happening in the garden these days! Every morning brings something new...a zucchini flower one day, a cucumber flower the next day, snow pea flowers just starting to make a showing and so it goes. Raspberries are ripening, bowls of strawberries are eaten daily, baskets of greens are being brought into the house for smoothies, juices and salads and herbs are being added to our meals for a little extra zing. So much goodness and we are enjoying every little bit of it.

How are things around your garden this week?

  1. OMG Kim! What is going on in the back of the first picture? What crazy huge leaves are growing?

    1. Haha, those are ferns. We transplanted three ferns from my mother in laws garden a few years ago and look what happened. There is also some yellow arch angel in there. I don't tend it, just let it be, we love it that way :)

  4. Bountiful garden! We harvested all of the lettuce because it was done. Same with the spinach. Our garden is a small one but mighty :)

  7. I love seeing pictures of your garden. The garden beds at our new house are all over grown with weeds but we are bit by bit getting them ready... and your garden inspires me:-)

    1. Oh, how lovely. We are just beginning to see signs of cucumbers and have one almost red tomato that will be split three ways in a day or two. Reece was sitting among the yellow beans this afternoon munching away :)
