A Saturday afternoon family hike found us sitting trail side eating the sweetest wild raspberries. After eating just enough, we used Reece's sun hat to gather some more before heading for home. We enjoyed them later that evening topped with coconut milk whipped cream.
Mother Nature is so very good to us, and we are one grateful family for receiving this lovely gift from her.
Those look absolutely delish!
ReplyDeleteThey were, and we can't wait to go back for more later this week, so many still to ripen.

ReplyDeleteYum! How lucky for you that you had a hat that doubled as a raspberry tote :)

DeleteWe have wild raspberry bushes in our yard and it was a huge treat indeed! Around here, they call them "black caps." Nature's bounty for sure!
ReplyDeleteWe so enjoyed them and will be heading out this weekend to pick those that weren't quite ripe yet :)
