My Own Way

Eyes open,
wide.
I see ahead.
Where I want to go,
to be,
what I want from this one,
and only life
I have been gifted with.

I may not be sure
of the perfect way to get there,
but each day
I take a few steps forward,
moving closer.

Some days,
a step back,
providing an opportunity
to focus more clearly
on where I am going
and why.

I will get there,
one day.
Slowly.
In my own way...

  1. Oh Kim, I feel like we are on the same journey. This was beautiful.

I don't know either how I will get there, but I am trying to get one step closer a day at a time.

    Thank you for sharing this.

    1. That is all we can do, one step at a time, moving forward, slowly :)

    1. Thanks KC! It has been pretty darn cold here, but we are looking forward to some higher temps in the next few days.

  4. Slowly, slowly. That should be my mantra because I have to continuously remind myself of that. Thanks for the help!

  5. Beautiful Kim!
It´s a path to go down some days forward, some days a step back, but there is the dream of a simpler way of living always present!
    Take care!
