Gratitude
~ for my morning rituals which ground and center me for the day ahead
~ for my connection to nature, and the way I feel when I am in the woods
~ for my little man, my greatest teacher, and the most amazing little person I know
~ for friends, both old and new, near and far...the love and support of so many has been amazing
~ for sunshine on very cold winter days
~ for beautiful night skies full of stars
~ for slow and simple days, and the act of being mindful as I move through them
~ for the time each day when I take the opportunity to focus on all the good things in my life
What are you most grateful for today?

My two little cherubs...and their paddle pool of cool water to splash in! It was a sweaty 36 degrees celsius here today, your snow looks wonderful :)
ReplyDeleteWow, that's hot. Glad you have that pool to keep you cool :)
DeleteSimply beautiful... Thank you for sharing my friend... And gratitude also, xo
ReplyDeleteThank you. xo
DeleteI am grateful for my beautiful children, for my little house which keeps me warm on cold days and nights like the ones we've just had. For being healthy and having my basic needs met, a privilege that a lot of people don't have. And for my garden, which is covered with snow and ice at the moment, but I'll be starting some veggies like leek and onions indoors soon, so I've been thinking a lot about it. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week Kim oxox
A beautiful list Marcela, thank you for sharing.
DeleteWishing you a lovely week too. xo
A beautiful list.
ReplyDeleteFriends coming over for lunch. Sunshine and big blue skies which means another day of washing dried outside yay!
Oh I can't wait to hang my laundry again. Soon :)
DeleteHi Kim
ReplyDeleteI'm grateful for the KonMari method of organizing today - what a revelation, I've just created so much space in the boys room!!
Oh I have heard so much about this book, I must give it a read soon. Happy to hear it is working for you.
DeleteThere are so many things to be grateful for! I'm grateful for my family, their love and their support. Grateful for a nice long weekend, a surprise movie date, flowers from our girls... Today is a rainy day, but I am very grateful it isn't sleet or snow!
ReplyDeleteA lovely list Anke, thank you for sharing.
DeleteI love your list Kim, it seems very centering. Hope it's a great week for you both.
ReplyDeleteThanks Carlin. So far the week is going great! Let's hope it continues.
DeleteLove your simple and true list Kim, it's the simple things I'm mostly greatful for too. Today it was sunshine- beautiful warm sunshine!
ReplyDeleteThank you Camilla. It really is the simple things in life that make us the most happy, isn't it?
DeleteI am grateful for my health and my husband and my dog :) Grateful for the phone calls from the kids and the snow I had (I am not grateful for today's rain). For knitting and tea drinking and new pens and paper.
ReplyDeleteLovely list Karen. I love new pens and paper too :)
DeleteWow, you have no snow left! How did that happen?
ReplyDeleteWonderful list my friend.
Today, I'm most grateful for a sense of healing in our home and the sound of gentle breathing while my little man slumbers.
Those are photos from last week, a little south of us, and it looks totally different now :) We got dumped on today, and are covered in white again. It was nice, but all the shovelling was tough.
DeleteSo happy little man is moving towards healing and feeling better. I hope it continues to move that way. Hugs to you all. Rest well my friend. xo
What a beautiful list, Kim. I really appreciate everything on it too. I hope you're having a good week so far.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jennifer. Having a great week here, hope you are too!
DeleteLovely words and images. Grateful for people like you who share so much goodness.
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks!
DeleteFamily and a positive attitude
ReplyDeleteI'm grateful for: the apple blossoms on my trees, the bees all over said blossoms, the unusually warm weather we are having, for getting to spend time with my mom and it being a such a good time I was not apt to part with her.
ReplyDeleteWow, it must be really warm down there. Enjoy! So happy you got to spend some time with your mom, always nice.
DeleteSlow and simple days! The past couple of weeks have been packed full and I realized that it was too much, so I cancelled everything I had scheduled for 3 days straight. I am ending day 2 of the retreat... it is so nice.
ReplyDeleteOh how wonderful Jen. It can be hard to slow ourselves down, but the rewards and the feeling of slow and simple are worth it. Enjoy!
DeleteWhat a lovely list, your world is looking a special place. Today I'm incredibly grateful for sunshine, the kind of crisp, blue sky day that makes you feel like you can do anything, and get everything done, and be full of happy, wonderful purpose and productivity!
ReplyDeleteI love that Sally. There is something pretty magical about crisp blue sky with the sun shining...it makes me feel so alive!
