"A photo of my little man, once a week, every week, in 2015"

Reece, you are growing up little man, right before my eyes. There are physical changes, emotional changes, and definitely changes in how you view the world around you. You feel connected to the world around you, and I can sense that by the calm that washes over you when we are together in nature. I get the feeling that you feel centered and at peace within the embrace of Mother Nature, and nothing makes me happier. You see, I feel the same way, and to know that you understand that, to know that you feel it too, well it makes my heart so very happy. I love you little man, and our time together in nature is something I will always treasure.

    1. Aw, thanks Taryn. Nature has always been the place where we both feel calm, centered and at peace. It feels so good to share it with him.

  4. I don't know whether Reece is the same, but it sometimes amazes me how instantly and completely the power of being outside in nature does wash over them (and maybe even more so me!) - so often it's just like a switch has been flicked.

    1. Oh yes, indeed! In fact, when I am asked for mothering advice, the advice I give most often is to get out in nature. Just walk, just be, just let her hold you, and your kiddos. Her power is amazing.

    1. Nope, just on the rocks by the water. But when we were there last week, after some heavy rains, those rocks were covered in water :)

      Thanks Karen.
