"A photo of my little man, once a week, every week, in 2015"
Reece, we are in full summer mode around here, and you don't mind one bit. Mornings are long and slow, usually with a visit to the woods. Afternoons are spent in the yard, you playing, me in the garden. Evenings find us lingering over our meal on the back deck, and some nights enjoying a fire. Other nights, you and your dad play, and I sit back, knitting, and watching as you both enjoy time together before bed. Summer is truly here, and we are planning to soak up every last bit of it.

wahou! those hairs :)))))ReplyDelete
I know, getting long, eh? He loves it, and most days I do too :)Delete
Oh that sounds pretty perfect to me!ReplyDelete
These summer days are feeling that way Carie :)Delete
Oh my! He looks so much older in this one. What a handsome young man. I just love his long locks. So soft around such a soft and gentle face. xoReplyDelete
He is changing Yanic, and looking much older these days. And the hair, well, that keeps growing too, and he loves it!Delete
Happy summer Reece!!!ReplyDelete
Oh my Kim, he's so grown up! Happy Sunday!ReplyDelete
He is! I keep telling to stop growing, but he just laughs at me :)Delete
His hair is lighter than ever this year! I'm wondering if he is wearing his hats less...anyways, great photo of your son!ReplyDelete
Yes, it is Karen. He is not wearing it at home as much, when we are in the yard. And with the long hair covering his ears and neck, I am not as worried about it as I have been in past summers.Delete
It sounds wonderful, Kim. Reece is such a handsome boy. He has beautiful hair. I hope your summer continues to be slow, easy and enjoyable in every way.ReplyDelete
Thanks Jennifer, I have to admit to loving his hair. It wouldn't have been my choice to have it long, but I do like it :)Delete
Thank you, hope you are enjoying your summer.
Yes, soak it all in, summers are for going slow.ReplyDelete
Your little man is growing.
I knew you would totally get it Tracey. Slow and easy is how we do summer, and it always feels so good.Delete
He is, and my mama heart is bursting with pride.
What a sweet face. I am glad you are enjoying the Summer. It is SO beautiful where you are...what a place to have Summer for a child. xxxReplyDelete
(P.S. Would love to have you join my giveaway- I know you already have a CD coming, but you could give this one away as a gift.) xx
Thank you Cory. Aw, so sweet of you to say, we love it hear, and I think summer is pretty special for my little man.Delete
I stopped over a little while ago, and am sharing a link on my post tomorrow. So happy for you my friend, and happy to help spread the word about your new CD. xo
what a lovely picture :-) so peaceful and summeryReplyDelete
I can not believe how old Reece looks these days!! I've been absent from reading many blogs for a few weeks now and coming back to my favorites ;), and my goodness, he's grown up!!!ReplyDelete
It is pretty crazy, eh? His features are suddenly changing and he looks so grown up. We are taking it all in stride, with lots of deep breathes :)Delete
So happy to see you back. xo
And once again he looks older! Has his hair gotten lighter, too?!ReplyDelete
We are so missing eating our meals on our back deck. It's in need of repair (after our epic winter) and so we have not brought out our deck furniture this year (or last, as it really needed to be fixed last year as well). With any luck we'll have a new deck before the winter sets in again! Our days just aren't the same without our outside table! xo
I know! And yes, the sun has been doing it's magic :)Delete
Oh that is too bad Shel, I do hope you get it fixed soon. I can't imagine not enjoying our meals outside for the summer, it truly is a wonderful thing.
That's exactly why I love Summer! And lovely to see a photo that's caught a smile there too.ReplyDelete
Us too Sally. He isn't one for smiling much, but I was happy to catch this one :)Delete
