"A photo of my little man, once a week, every week, in 2015"

Reece, we are in full summer mode around here, and you don't mind one bit. Mornings are long and slow, usually with a visit to the woods. Afternoons are spent in the yard, you playing, me in the garden. Evenings find us lingering over our meal on the back deck, and some nights enjoying a fire. Other nights, you and your dad play, and I sit back, knitting, and watching as you both enjoy time together before bed. Summer is truly here, and we are planning to soak up every last bit of it.

    1. Yes, it is Karen. He is not wearing it at home as much, when we are in the yard. And with the long hair covering his ears and neck, I am not as worried about it as I have been in past summers.

      Thank you!

    1. Thanks Jennifer, I have to admit to loving his hair. It wouldn't have been my choice to have it long, but I do like it :)

Thank you, hope you are enjoying your summer.

    1. It is pretty crazy, eh? His features are suddenly changing and he looks so grown up. We are taking it all in stride, with lots of deep breathes :)

  11. And once again he looks older! Has his hair gotten lighter, too?!

We are so missing eating our meals on our back deck. It's in need of repair (after our epic winter) and so we have not brought out our deck furniture this year (or last, as it really needed to be fixed last year as well). With any luck we'll have a new deck before the winter sets in again! Our days just aren't the same without our outside table! xo

    1. I know! And yes, the sun has been doing it's magic :)

Oh that is too bad Shel, I do hope you get it fixed soon. I can't imagine not enjoying our meals outside for the summer, it truly is a wonderful thing.
